Brief Introduction: Dolomite is a carbonate mineral, the main components is magnesium calcium carbonate, will slowly bubbling when contact with cold diluted hydrochloric acid. Its chemical composition theories for 30.4% calcium oxide and 21.7% magnesium oxide, Our company the dolomite chemical compositions were closed to the theories compositions.
Dolomite will break up into mixture of carbon dioxide, magnesium oxide and calcium oxide when it heated to 700℃~900℃, called Magnesium hydroxide, easy to reacted with water. The magnesium oxide will change to Pericles and the calcium oxide will change to a-CaO when dolomite heated to 1500℃, after this it will have dense structure, strong water-resistance and the refractoriness is up to 2300℃.
Application: Dolomite can be used as steelmaking reformer refractory linings, slag-making material, raw material of cement, glass flux, ceramic industry, fertilizer, construction stone, decorative stone, painting, pesticide and medicine and other various uses.
